Mapping for Organizing
Want to see where your members are; determine the best geographies to focus your outreach; see which neighborhoods your twitter followers live in? Map it! This session will teach you the nuts and bolts of how to create and interpret maps using free software (QGIS) and online platforms (cartoDB). We will also look at how creating maps can help with building your campaign and organizing strategy.

In this workshop we will discuss the importance of effective one-on-one conversations with potential voters and strategies to mobilize voters to the polls. This workshop will present participants the opportunity to discuss best practices and brainstorm new methods to engage voters as we approach the 2016 election.
